Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1995, her expertise includes providing legal advice and representation in family law matters such as divorce, domestic violence, child custody and support, compensation and maintenance for wife and children, adoption, visitation rights and other legal issues pertaining to the family laws. She also specializes in inter se family disputes, HUF issues, succession and probate proceeding, POCSO complaints, and women-related matters.

She is also a trained Mediator and is a actively participating as a Mediator in the Delhi High Court Mediation Cell. Ms. Indira also specializes in investigation and management of internal disciplinary inquiries, sexual harassment complaints, negotiation, collective bargaining, union related matters, and internal trainings for employees.
